Banbury Beer Festival 2008

The greatest event in the North Oxfordshire Camra diary took place from 8th-10th May.

We featured:

-- One third of beers from the North-West
-- Excellent range of cider and perry
-- Food available all sessions, inc. Pig Roast on Saturday
-- Singer/guitarist on Saturday evening
-- Souvenir Festival Glasses

A Brief History

North Oxfordshire CAMRA have hosted our annual beer festival in Banbury since 2000. Our first was held in the town hall and although it was a small venue, it suited us at the time.

Our 2007 festival, at the TA Centre, attracted over 1,100 visitors over the three days all eager to sample the 80 beers, 8 ciders and 2 perries that were on offer. It was also our first 'themed' festival - celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Act of Union between England and Scotland. The theme for our 2008 festival was Beers from the North West.
